Mickey Y Joell “24 Horas” estrenan “Aún Me Perteneces”
El dúo Mickey & Joel “24 Horas” presentan hoy mundialmente su nuevo tema “Aún Me Perteneces”, una bachata compuesta por estos dos talentosos jóvenes que marcan su regreso a los escenarios y dan a conocer el esperado primer sencillo de su segundo álbum discográfico.
Bajo la mutual de La Oreja Media Group, Inc. y Porfirio Pina Entertainment, Inc., Joell y Mickey dan a conocer su nuevo material musical a su ya reconocido repertorio que ya tiene entrada en Europa, Centro y Suramérica y por supuesto Estados Unidos, país que los vio nacer artísticamente en el 2010.
“Nuestras letras no tienen una fórmula precisa o específica, son el resultado de narrar historias que sean comunes y que cualquier persona se pueda identificar” afirma Mickey sobre el estilo al componer e interpretar sus canciones.
Desde el día de hoy, “Aún Me Perteneces” se encuentra en todas las tiendas digitales y en los principales portales de entretenimiento latino en Estados Unidos y gran parte de Latinoamérica.
Historia
En el 2010 el grupo 24 Horas presentó su primer álbum titulado ’24 Horas’, que se convirtió en una auténtica explosión que les abrió las puertas para que ese increíble debut se transformara en uno de los discos más importantes de ese año.
Cuatro canciones se convirtieron en éxitos en Billboard, estaciones de radio y canales de video (“24 Horas”, “Mami Dame Un Beso”, “No Puedo Creer” y “Ayer Te Vi Con él”), canciones que transformaron al grupo en una de las historias de suceso más interesantes de ese momento.
Precisamente un remix de Enrique Iglesias “Ayer” tuvo un gran impacto internacional y los llevó a presentar su música en escenarios multitudinarios.
Y es que Rodolfo Jaquez “Joell” y Jonathan Then “Mickey” conforman más que un buen dúo, son primos y una llave musical muy productiva que no solo interpreta sino que también tiene un extenso catálogo como compositores con canciones para 24 horas y otras para artistas como Prince Royce, Ana Isabelle, J’Martin, Frank Reyes, Leslie Grace, entre otros.
Joell y Mickey nacieron en Nueva York y pasaron gran parte de su infancia y adolescencia en República Dominicana. La música siempre estuvo presente y mientras que disfrutaban de su paso por El Cibao (San Francisco de Macorís), mezclaban en sus listas de canciones éxitos de Eminem, el merengue de Eddy Herrera o Sergio Vargas, la bachata de Elvis Martínez, Anthony Santos, Raulín Rodríguezo Aventura y la salsa de los viejos discos de La Fania Allstars oTito Rojas, toda una mezcla de géneros, sonidos e historias que fueron fuente de inspiración de sus primeras composiciones.
Desde muy jóvenes comenzaron a escribir melodías y letras. Entendieron que combinando su talento estaban generando en ellos una fuerza creativa muy fuerte que sin querer los estaba convirtiendo en un grupo sólido capaz de crear sus propias canciones.
Con la explosión de la bachata urbana en Estados Unidos, Joell y Mickey entregaron un primer disco que marcó diferencia entre los artistas del género. Llegaron con un sonido original, con la inclusión de elementos modernos siempre respetando las raíces y originalidad de la bachata tradicional que escucharon de primera mano en República Dominicana.
A diferencia de otros artistas, ellos construyeron su sonido con la bachata como base, agregando toques sutiles de modernidad. Entre el lapso de tiempo desde su primer disco y el nuevo, en el que se encueran trabajando, no han parado de componer en el piano y la guitarra. Desde su propio estudio han tenido la disciplina y la comodidad de contar con los elementos necesarios para grabar a cualquier momento del día.

SOLO 2 the New Bachata duo from 2 Strong Music is made up of siblings, Brandon and Aldric Cruz who were both born in Manhattan, New York – both currently residing in the MECCA of Latinos, Miami, FL. SOLO 2 shares a unique bond – a synergy that has formed organically and is behind many of the greats in the industry. Although a three-year age difference exists, their goals and aspirations in perfecting their craft are mutual and these too promise to strengthen the parallel talent shared by SOLO 2.
While most kids were out playing in the streets – the two brothers recall staying indoors either studying or listening to music. SOLO 2 understands that their upbringing has allowed them to retain the essence of their chosen genre, Bachata, considering it was in the city of Santiago, Dominican Republic where they spent the majority their childhood.

It is all these characteristics that caught Andres ‘Dre’ Hidalgo, CEO of 2 Strong Music’s attention, who discovered them via their YouTube channel. With the solid trajectory that the 2 Strong Music brand brings to the table, one word comes to mind. Magic: Magic, is what we can expect from this union.
Together these Powerhouses are recording SOLO 2’s EP scheduled for a Summer 2015 release.
SOLO2 Before 2 Strong Music
It was at a young age that SOLO 2 learned of their “calling.” Both, Brandon and Aldric were truly fascinated by “a fan’s reaction” – as they describe this moment, it was then where they knew they had to commit to their craft.
SOLO 2 knew then what they are actively working on now, and that is that they had a responsibility, a commitment to their craft. With the help and support of their parents both Brandon and Aldric have a solid foundation in the arts; both took Guitar, Acting and Music lessons as young adolescents but they knew their passion lied in singing.
Musical Influences? They both enjoy the likes of Linkin Park and Sin Bandera – a blend that they have fused and bring to their country’s folk and popular genre, Bachata.
